The Patio warmly welcomes you as you approach the inn. The Davises have tried to make their patio an oasis. Bask in the natural beauty as you enjoy the functional brickwork, pristine greenery, and, of course, apple trees. If you have the time and inclination, you'll find that within walking distance are the Knox County Public Library, the County Courthouse and Union College, the first college in the Kentucky mountains. A few more steps and you can be at the water park at historic Brickyard Ponds.

         
The Parlor will be on your left as you enter the inn. Relax in the elegant reading room, with its cozy settees for comfort: books and magazines for intellectual stimulation: precious quietude for peace of mind: and deliciously rich coffee to warm the bones. These all exist to help our guests feel right at home. Your welcome here at any time, day or wee hours of night. The coffee will be waiting.

         
The Kitchen is seen as you make your way through the inn. Scrumptious scents beckon quests to a reminisent of days-gone-by charm. The breakfast menu features pancakes with home-made brown-sugar syrup. French toast, ham, bacon, eggs, biscuits and potato casserole, as well as more low-fat fare. Other culinary delights include local favorites like apple cake, peanut butter rolls, chocolate walnut fudge, buckeyes and cookies. The kitchen is open around the clock to fulfill all appetites at any time, while beverages, such as hot tea and coffee, iced tea and lemonade, are always ready to warm and refresh tired travelers.
