Last summer our family had the pleasure of staying at Jack and Vesta's Apple Tree Inn. While this site is still under construction, it is far enough along that you will get a good feel for the ambiance that you can expect here. Jack and I served together on our first tour of duty in Vietnam . Believe me, we never lived this good. Truth be known, I have traveled all over this great nation of ours and you will rarely experience such gracious hosts. And then there is Vesta's cooking! In a word fantastic! Southern Living did an article on The Apple Tree Inn and gave it rave reviews! If you stay there I'm sure that you will agree. Holly and I have stayed at a number of bed and breakfast inns and without a doubt this is the best we have ever experienced. So now the big question. What's to do in Barbourville Kentucky ? If you look at their website you will see that there is plenty to do. Enjoy the site! |

"A Sweet Stay. Wonderful food and comfy surroundings indulge guests at this bed-and-breakfast in southeast Kentucky. My only regret is that I didn't ask Vesta for her apple cake recipe..... " Read full review here
