Step back in time as you enter the Apple Tree Inn, to a world where the pace is slow, people are genuinely friendly and the atmosphere is genteel. Built in 1907, the inn was originally a family dwelling: then an office and apartment building: and now a beautifully restored bed and breakfast decorated in the elegance of Victorian and Colonial styles.
Owners Jack and Vesta Davis have spared no expense to provide a warm and inviting retreat with all the comforts Southern hospitality can bring. While you won't find the original apple tree for which the inn was named, the Davises have replanted and sought to preserve the integrity and history of the home and the grounds as much as possible.
Remember the days when Mom stayed home and cooked breakfast, packed your lunch and went all-out for meals? Dad asked about your day. Mom served with a smile. After supper you might visit neighbors then head for bed, with little on your mind. Well, the Apple Tree Inn is like that. Come and enjoy being pampered!
Come share the satisfaction of home-cooking: the welcome of good friends and good folks: and the majesty of the mountains of Appalachia and Southeastern Kentucky. We hope you return again and again!
